If you've ever cracked/broken a rib, you know how much fun it is.
Realistically, there's nothing they can do for you, save give you some painkillers. Sure, if you break enough of them in one go, they'll tape you up, but that's to keep them together so that they can heal in a semi-straight manner. It's not like they immobilize them.
Sneezing, coughing, laughing...these all become efforts of pain. And don't even get me started on hiccups. Or...shudder...vomiting.
I have a colonoscopy that they're trying to get me in for before the end of the year, but I don't think it's a good idea to put me under with this going on. Yet at the same time, I just want this all over. Bad enough I may have to get the transplant in 2017, but stupid stuff like this is just that...stupid.
Razzing frazzing osteoporosis and colitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis, oh my.
Not really a rant, more like a stream of consciousness, eh?
